A's Sign Balfour and Fuentes

The A's experienced a decently successful season in 2010, going 81-81. The success part is not in the record but in the progress made by the young players in the team. Trevor Cahill, Brett Anderson, and Gio Gonzalez all proved that they could match up against any teams ace. Closer Andrew Bailey proved his amazing Rookie of the Year season was no fluke and Jerry Blevins, Michael Wuertz, Brad Ziegler, and Jerry Blevins all continued their solid careers in the bullpen. The A's seem to have finished addressing their awful hitting, taking Josh Willingham, David DeJesus and Hideki Matsui. the only other weakness the A's had was bullpen depth and they've done an admirable job fixing that too, with the signings of relief aces Greg Balfour and Brian Fuentes. Balfour was often brought in to face the meat of the Yankees and Red Sox lineup's during his time with the Rays. Here are the predicted members of the 2011 A's Bullpen:

Andrew Bailey
Greg Balfour
Craig Breslow
Brian Fuentes
Michael Wuertz
Jerry Blevins
Rich Harden
Brad Ziegler

Of course, Tyson Ross is in the minors, as is Brad Kilby. Don't be surprised to see someone from the A's bullpen traded.
